Facts/Trivia
- The Halalan Voting System will be used as the automated election software.
- Halalan was developed by the University of the Philippines Linux Users Group (UNPLUG).
- Halalan will run on Dilnet, the Internet-based wide area network (WAN) of UP.
- Halalan uses the UP CRS database to determine if you are currently an undergraduate or graduate student, and thus qualified to vote.
- This is the first time in UP history to hold campus-wide computerized student council elections.
- Election results will be available approximately thirty minutes after the end of voting period.
